Together, we will decorate, assemble, and light 500 luminaries along a one-mile oval at Olde Town Center - Church St. & Old Main St.
Everyone is invited to walk the mile and enjoy the sights & sounds of the evening.

Share a few words, a poem, or a hand-drawn picture.
Hang it on the tree in the front window for all to see, then take a photo and share your wish on social media!.(don't forget to tag #unitebylight2024)
Create a holiday greeting card to be sent to a veteran overseas.
The Rocky Hill Dept. of Human Services will include your card in their holiday care packages for veterans stationed around the world.
Stop in to the Community Center and make a few holiday cards.
Stop by the Rocky Hill Fire Dept. and check out its utility truck and rescue boat decorated for the holidays.
Bring the kiddos to the Community Center, where Sharon from The Face Factor will be offering free face painting.
Note: In lieu of charging a fee, Sharon will be accepting donations that will go 100% to For All Ages to help us offset the cost of this event.
We need your help to bring this incredible event to town! Help us decorate, assemble, light and clean up 500 luminaries. People of any age can play a part in decorating and assembling; adults 18+ can light the luminaries. We also need help cleaning up the morning after.
We invite 20 volunteers to decorate luminary bags on one of two dates at the Rocky Hill Community Center:
October 25, 1-3 pm OR
November 6, 6-7:30 pm
On November 13, we need 12 volunteers to assemble luminaries from
6-7:30 pm at the Rocky Hill Community Center.
1. We need 25 adults to help us light the luminaries (4 pm)! Families can participate with youth placing the luminaries and parents lighting them.
First, you'll complete a volunteer agreement and photo release (see below to pre-print and complete ahead of time).
Then you'll be given a location assignment & safety vests. You'll walk to your designated location and place & light luminaries.
Then you'll return your safety vests to us at the Community Center and take the box home to be recycled (thank you).
We need 4 people to help clean up the luminaries.
*** Download, print, and bring signed volunteer agreement & photo release (see below) with you in order to volunteer.
All volunteers are required to download, print, and turn in the signed volunteer agreement & photo release when arriving at their scheduled volunteer time. Youth under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian sign. Thank you!
