Deb founded For All Ages with a vision to end loneliness, reduce ageism, and promote kindness across generations by implementing impactful programs that improve the mental, physical, and social health of people of all ages. Deb has brought together her passion for promoting intergenerational opportunities and interest in combating loneliness and isolation, her work as a nonprofit board member and advisor, and her experience with starting and growing businesses to found For All Ages.
Deb received her law degree with honors from the University of Connecticut after earning an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from UConn. After enjoying success in the insurance industry for many years, Deb provided leadership and guidance to a variety of nonprofits. Her passion for making the world a better place led her to found a nonprofit that can simultaneously impact current and future generations.
Deb is a member of the Commit to Connect Nationwide Network of Champions, USAging's Intergenerational Community of Practice, and the UConn Aging Research Interest Group. She serves on Mental Health Connecticut's Public Policy Committee and on the Goodwin University Advisory Board for Health Science & Public Health Programs, and is a NIDE certified Dementia Professional.
Smita is a Practice Director at Slalom Consulting where she helps corporate clients solve business problems and develop new and innovative solutions.
Smita believes that intergenerational connections are irreplaceable. Her cultural background has enabled her to regularly interact cross-generationally her entire life, both as part of daily living and at special occasions such as cultural events and festivals. She is excited to be serving on For All Ages' board and seeks to create more awareness about loneliness in a hyper connected society.
Smita has an educational background in both accounting and process optimization and enjoys exploring new technologies and solutions. Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies and spending time outdoors with her husband Ravi and son Hridaan.

Natalie is an attorney at Reid and Riege, P.C., where she assists businesses with entity formation, document drafting, and commercial real estate transactions.
Intergenerational communication has long been a passion for Natalie, as she grew up with a close bond with her grandmother and spent many volunteer hours at local nursing homes and senior centers during her childhood and throughout her years of schooling. She believes that everyone has a story worth sharing and is excited to help For All Ages foster an environment of collaboration and communication across the age spectrum.
An avid runner and reader, she coaches runners individually and through Fleet Feet West Hartford and helps first-graders with their literacy skills as a United Way Reader.
Natalie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University, her Master of Arts in Criminology from the University of South Florida, and her Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law.
Liz is an insurance professional, mother, wife, and avid runner. Liz has over 15 years of experience working in Claims at The Hartford Financial Services Group, where she has held multiple leadership roles overseeing operational teams and leaders, developing and implementing strategic plans across multiple lines of business, and driving process improvements which earned her a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Liz's passion for partnering with others to make positive, impactful change drew her to join the board of For All Ages. Liz and her daughter began volunteering locally with the organization in 2021, and she served on the organizing committee for the FAA Marathon Gold Level Charity Team in 2021 and 2022.
Liz is also a member of United Way's Women United, is a leader of The Hartford’s Professional Women’s Network, and is a leader of the Simsbury Striders running club. She graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master of Arts in Public Policy.
Liz is leveraging her passion and academic background to assist For All Ages and the CT Collaborative to End Loneliness with advocacy, outreach, and legislative measures.
Christine is a certified executive and leadership coach with the International Coaching Federation. She specializes in career transitions and acceleration, empowering clients to seize their potential and navigate change to achieve their career aspirations. With 30 years of legal and compliance experience, Christine has held senior executive positions in top-tier financial services companies. She was known for building dynamic teams, transformative leadership, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Her coaching spans industries, collaborating with lawyers, executives, and emerging talent. Christine partners with clients to transform and thrive during change with a clear pathway to success.
Christine is motivated to help end the epidemic of loneliness. Christine was drawn to For All Ages' mission based on her personal experiences of the impact of community and intergenerational connection on addressing loneliness within her family and community. She has seen people hide their loneliness, withdraw from society, and watch them physically and mentally decline. And she has witnessed the beauty of seeing them thrive again when they connect with others to share their stories, experiences, and wisdom. Christine looks forward to creating opportunities for all to engage across generations.
Christine received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. She became an Advanced Certified Personal & Executive Coach through the College of Executive Coaching.
Valerie is a former television producer whose feature stories have been seen on CBS News, HBO Sports, and ESPN.
In 2017, she pivoted her career by launching The Storytelling Strategist, a communications firm focused on meaningful messaging, business and personal branding, and presentation skills. She speaks at conferences and partners with corporations to develop future leaders and build strong, cohesive, and equitable teams. Valerie currently holds positions as adjunct faculty at UCONN School of Business and Communication Coordinator for the Institute of Municipal and Regional Policy (IMRP) within the School of Public Policy.
Motivated by her observations of the impact of isolation and loneliness on both older adults and students, Valerie believes that through sharing stories, everyone can feel seen, heard, and valued.
Valerie received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Michigan and her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University.
Ebony is a Licensed Professional Counselor at The Department of Veteran Affairs in Rocky Hill where she provides therapy to veterans who live at the facility. She has also worked with various populations in inpatient/outpatient programs. She currently owns a small private practice and is a mental health contractor for Yale University and the ABH military support program. Her work with various populations has allowed her to expand her knowledge on how to best support those she works with. Ebony enjoys collaborating with others on life goals and working toward ways to make progress despite life situations. She believes that a change in thought process is one way that great change can occur.
Ebony's work with the older veteran population and seeing the negative effects of loneliness sparked her interest in For All Ages. Prior to becoming a board member, she collaborated with For All Ages on the Joyful Notes Oroject and Buddies and Bobbers Fishing Derby. Her hope is to help spread the word on the benefits of healthy connection.
Ebony earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of New Haven and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University.
Georgia is a health and wellness strategist, gerontologist, and mental health instructor. She’s worked with government programs nationally, non-profit organizations, and local communities to implement successful solutions for better health outcomes. Currently, Georgia works with organizations nationally to promote health equality, mental wellness, and improvement for healthcare systems. She helps simplify ways for individuals, communities, and organizations to meet the needs of our most vulnerable, yet resilient, individuals.
Georgia is a Doctor of Health Administration candidate (DHA) and is a certified Mental Health Instructor by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. In addition to directly serving individuals in the community, she partners with community leaders within Hartford Healthcare, Connecticut Community Care, and the UConn Center on Aging/UConn Pepper Center as a member of their board of directors or advisory team and a Vice-Chair of the National Aging in Place Council – CT/MA. Georgia is also a licensed health insurance producer in several states.
Georgia’s professional and personal mission is to help each person in their health journey, and to remove stigmatization, offer the best resources, and advocate for healthcare equality.
Sue is Assistant General Counsel at The Hartford where she counsels its Group Benefits business unit on a wide range of complex employee benefits and insurance issues. Sue has grown her career at The Hartford over the last 20-plus years with positions of increasing responsibility as an attorney.
Mental health/wellness is a topic that is extremely important to Sue. She has seen the terrible impact of isolation, depression, and loneliness on close friends and family, including losing two individuals she knew to suicide. She is embracing the opportunity to give back to the community and help improve the mental health of others through her involvement with For All Ages.
As a way to improve her own mental health during the height of the pandemic, Sue began spending time outdoors with a camera taking landscape photos and it is now a passion of hers. Sue is also an avid runner having completed five marathons, most recently the Hartford Marathon (for the second time) in October 2022 supporting the Team For All Ages.
Sue earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Connecticut, and her Juris Doctor from Western New England University’s School of Law.
Stefan is Vice President & Managing Director at Cigna, a global health service company with a mission to improve the health, well-being, and peace of mind of those it serves by making health care simple, affordable, and predictable. In his role, he oversees Market Insights for strategy development, product/solutions development, customer experience management, marketing empowerment, and sales enablement.
Stefan has a passion for whole-person health, bridging physical and mental well-being, and helping people of all ages overcome isolation and loneliness. His work on loneliness provides a natural, seamless path to serving on For All Ages’ board. Stefan is also an advocate of education and cultural enrichment and serves on the board of the German School of Connecticut. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, team sports, and good conversations.
Stefan earned his undergraduate degree at ESB Reutlingen in Germany and a Master of Business Administration at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Sam is a communications professional who comes from the nonprofit sector himself. Sam has worked at Hartford’s Camp Courant, the oldest and largest free summer day camp in the nation, for over five years – starting as a marketing intern before stepping into his full-time position as Mission Engagement Coordinator in 2021. In his role, Sam oversees marketing campaigns, manages social media, and embeds himself in the daily programming to capture meaningful moments to share with followers.
The mission of For All Ages hits home for Sam, as he understands firsthand the impact loneliness can have on young people, as well as its physical and mental effects on older adults. Having helped care for his grandmother who suffers from dementia, Sam believes it is imperative to provide opportunities for conversation, connection, and enrichment to this community for overall mental well-being and to prevent the onset of dementia symptoms. Sam is also an advocate for young people to be comfortable and confident in talking about these experienced emotions.
Sam holds a degree in journalism from Southern Connecticut State University and is proud to be a lifelong Connecticut resident. He grew up in Suffield and currently lives in downtown Hartford.
