We Walk Together

• Vitamin D produces serotonin, benefiting our mood and our memory.
• Being in nature is relaxing, reducing our stress, cortisol levels, muscle tension, and heart rates – all of which are risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
• Walking likely helps grow new brain cells and increase the size of the hippocampus, warding off the risk of cognitive decline.
• Social connectedness reduces loneliness, improving our sense of belonging and our happiness, and reducing the risk of anxiety, depression, heart disease, stroke and dementia.
• Intergenerational interaction improves connectedness and reduces ageism, improving health and well-being.

I understand that my participation in a We Walk Together event means that I have read, understand, and agree to the following. I, on my behalf and on behalf of my children, assume all risks associated with attending this event including, but not limited to injury whether arising in contract, negligence or otherwise, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I, for myself, my children, and anyone entitled to act on my or my children's behalf, waive and release For All Ages from any and all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of participation in this intergenerational event. I grant permission to For All Ages to use any photographs, videos, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. 

In addition, I understand that For All Ages has the right to decline my participation in this event at its discretion for any reason it deems appropriate, including but not limited to, ensuring the safety of event attendees and the integrity of the program.
